Love this post. I've been busy cooking, including as part of a service club's booth at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. We served a ton of hamburgers and sweet corn.
Happy belated birthday, it sounds like your celebration was full of relaxing and delicious moments! Those pizza cupcakes...I need to make some asap (can someone share a recipe?). This summer has been an awesome mix of time away in Maine (including hiking in Acadia) and plenty of quiet moments at home - reading, watching tv, snuggling with my kitties. I took 3 months off from work and have let myself be as free as possible to just be. It’s really a necessary commitment to take a step back and assess life’s ins and outs.
Jessica, that sounds so beautifully intentional. Taking time off to just be as free as possible is so rewarding for the soul. My friend bought the pizza cupcakes from Costco. They came in a box of 12! 💗✨
